Spengler to remain on the attack at the Nurburgring

This weekend will see the DTM take over the Nurburgring for the penultimate round of the season.  Fifth in the championship rankings, Bruno Spengler will stop at nothing to remain in contention for the title. The Canadian driver has done well for himself over the last few races, having visited the podium three times out of four (third and second places in Moscow and second at Oschersleben).  Since the beginning of the season the 2012 champion has been on the podium five times so far and he intends to climb these steps again this coming weekend. New podium for Spengler at Oschersleben

After two podium finishes in Moscow two weeks earlier, Bruno Spengler did it again at Oschersleben this past weekend with a second place in Race 1. A weekend to forget at Spielberg

After the good results and a podium obtained at the last two DTM meetings at the Norisring and Zandvoort, Bruno Spengler endured a tough weekend at the Red Bull Ring. Following their winning streak in Holland, BMW got awarded additional ballast in Austria, according to DTM rules, and it complicated their weekend at a track full of inclines and the need for quick changes of direction.  Spengler, who was 6th in the rankings before the weekend, could not defend his championship hopes and neither could his team mates. The BMW M4s proved to be off the pace from the outset...
